Dear future host family,

I‘m happy about spending my next school year with you and would like to express my attitude for this opportunity.

My name is Chiara and I`m from Germany, where I live with my parents, my older sister and my cat in a charming house with a nice garden. I am currently 15 years old but when I come to you I will be 16.

Engaging in soccer twice a week is one of my passions, and I also dedicate my time to assisting with child supervision during their gymnastics sessions every Tuesday.

I love to look at art and cars and to listen to music. I`m really interested in fashion, big cities and travelling as well. That ´s why my family and me have already been in Paris, Berlin,

Barcelona and numerous other cities.

I often hang out with my friends as well. We like to go to the mall, go for a walk, go to the cinema and play video games.

Spending a year in America has always been a dream of mine. I just love the American culture, the food, the diverse landscapes and the big cities. I almost always watch tv shows and movies in English and already thought about moving to America in the future.

One of my primary objectives for this journey is to enhance my English skills. I`m most excited to experience the American lifestyle, establish new friendships and discovering new food and

Hobbies, but I`m actually open for whatever comes. Furthermore, I would be delighted to share insights into German culture and even prepare traditional dishes for you, either alone or together.
