My name is Jirachaya. I am a high school student from Thailand. People normally call me by my nickname Wawa. My parents do language school business. They support me to learn English and Chinese languages since I was 3 years old. When I grew up, I realize that English is very important for world communication. To be an exchange student in the United States would be a great opportunity for me. It is not just to improve my English communication skills, but also to learn a different culture and how to live with others away from home.
For my family background, we have four people, my father, my mother, my elder sister and me. We are a moderate family living in the northern area of my city. My father and my mother run a language school business. I learned how to be responsible for myself since I was very young. I can arrange everything and do future plans for myself. I help my mom when she prepares activities in school such as typing, making some teaching materials and doing some housework. My daily routine is going to school and I like to come back early to clean my bedroom.
I learn piano since I was four years old and it is my most favorite hobby. I can also play guitar and I enjoy cooking. I like to travel and have fun with my friends. I have been to Hong Kong, China, Korea, Australia, Cambodia, Japan and many provinces in Thailand. I choose my choice to further study in Communication Arts because I am sociable and enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. My dream is to be an actress. If I can get the opportunity to continue studying in the US, I would like to work at CNN because that is my biggest ambition.
Lastly, I would like to be part of the program because I want to have new experiences and for personal growth that it offers. I feel very excited about the program.
