Hello! My name is Suttinon, nickname Non. I’m the only one child in my family. I’m an easy-going person. Currently, I’m majoring in Math-Science at my school. For school days, I have to be at the school before 07.45 a.m. to be in time for the national anthem and the school’s morning assembly. I study 8 periods per day — each lasting for 50 minutes. However, on most Fridays, the school’s schedule is cut short due to the afternoon military practice for male students, including myself.
Normally on school days, I get up at 05.30 a.m. to get to school on time, as well as to play soccer with my friends before the assembly starts. One reason for waking up so early in the morning is that my house is really far from the school. However, the most important reason that I am in charge of monitoring the morning assembly. This includes the responsibility of publicizing any school activities or announcements during assembly. Once the assembly is over, every student is going into their classrooms.
My favorable subjects are physical education and mathematics. On the contrary, subjects which I find less preferable are social studies and history. These subjects have a lot of information to remember which I am not very great. At lunch, some of my friends and I rush through our lunch to maximize our time of playing soccer during lunch break. Once lunch break finishes, I go back to class until the day is over which is around 4.00p.m. After school, I sometimes go to tutoring classes. If there are no tutoring classes then I’ll go to the fitness center or walk my dog.
On weekends, I tend to get up early in the morning to go running and do other activities such as washing and cleaning the cars. Then I leave the house for tutoring class and come back in the evening. In my free time, I like to either play with my dog or invite my neighbors to do activities like playing sports or music together. After that, I would return back home for a dinner with my family. We always spend time together on weekend, going outside to have food at a restaurant, see a movie, play golf and go bowling.
I am a friendly, outgoing and active person. I prefer keeping myself busy with different activities. My hobbies include photography, playing sports, and playing guitar. Since I love taking photographs, I also love to travel or go for some sort of an adventure. I also really love animals.
I want to be an exchange student because of my impressions in the past summer where I was an exchange student for a month at New Zealand. I felt like that one month was so valuable to me. Despite being there only for a month, it made me to gain new experiences as well as to make and know new friends and eventually both helped to shape my personality. Thus, I believe that being an exchange student for 10 months would be very beneficial to me. Firstly, it would help me to practice my communication skills. Secondly, I want new experiences. Being an exchange student makes me to learn new things and share my own culture. Thirdly, I want to meet new people and make lots of new friends.
Lastly, I am the only child, if possible I would love to be in a host family with many siblings. I would also be very delightful if my host family has pets.
