LETTER FROM Duy (Daniel)

Duy (Daniel)

First of all, I would like to thank you for reading my letter and spending time on getting to know about me better. I hope this letter will give you information about me, my country and the reason why I like to spend a time in the USA.

Now I will tell you about myself. My name is Duy or you can call me Daniel. I’m 16 years old. I live in Vietnam. And, I’m a student in high school. Generally, I’m quite good at English, Music, Math and sport activities such as Basketball, Swim, Soccer, etc.

At first, I didn’t have an idea to study abroad but when I saw my friends do that I was extremely excited and also I know that being an overseas student is difficult but I’m ready for my journey.

My dream since I was young is become an International graphic designer, beside that I’m interesting in fashion, traveling, making music, etc… And another dream is being a famous musician and I also want to own a big instrument store. So I think the best choice for me to follow my dream and my interests is living environment in USA.

I’m come from a normal family include my parents, brother, and sister. My parents are the owner of the beef store. And my brother – now he’s 9 years old. My youngest sister is 4 years old.

I really love my family, especially my parents because they raised me and my siblings to now with that job, also I’m very respectful and proud of them. I think my parents are busy all day, so in my free time, I always help my parents to cook, to take care of my siblings, teach them, and do the house chore.

Apart from the above, I’m an active person so I can get along with any members in your family. Besides I really love animals. Although in my family, there are not any animals but I really like dog and cat. They are so sweet and I believe they have their own feelings.

I hope to meet you soon. I would like to share with you about my country, and help you cook some traditional food of my country.

To be one of your family members is one of my happiest things in my life. I hope you are happy to see me, too. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.
