Dear future host family:

First I want you to know that I am very thankful for reading and taking the time for reading this, I hope you are having a nice day.

I´m Jose German I am 15 years old and I live in Madrid. I live with my parents, my brother and my dog. My dad is a very happy person I think the thing I love the most about him is the way he handles problems, he´s just so calm. My mom always finds something good in the worse, from my mom I like how you can see the amount of love she has for her job, I think is difficult to find something that you really like and seeing my mother that is happy with her job makes me the happiest son of this world. My brother has a very special way to solve problems even if they are huge problems, he solves the majority of them in a sentimental way.

I think I am a very independent person and I think it´s a very important thing on this planet because if your mental health depends on another person maybe not now but in the future you´re going to suffer a lot, but we are humans and we make mistakes ; I may be good at this but, I’m still learning how to be confident and not to overthink other people´s opinion, I think I’m learning a lot in this topic.

I also think I’m very fluent in this language, I´ve been going to English classes since I was a kid and I think that could make things in the US easier not only for me, but my future host family and friends will be more comfortable with me. I also love the fact that I could learn more about other cultures. I don´t usually practice sports but I like badminton and volleyball, I also like traveling and taking pictures, videos… of everything. My favorite food is fried chicken I could never get tired of eating it, and also cooking it because in my free time I always try to make something for my family and friends.

In case you are going to be my future host family, I must tell you to thank you for everything you are going to teach and help me become a better person.
