My name is Seohee. I’m 14 years old (15 after I arrive to the US). I’m from Korea.

First of all, thank you very much for volunteering as an exchange student host. The reason why I applied as an exchange student is because I want improve my English skills and experience culture and life in the United States.

I went to United States when I was in third grade. I really liked the memory of that time. So, I am studying vocabulary, listening, reading, etc. so that I can communicate well in United States.

My family members are my mom, dad, older brother and me.

We often walks in the lake park. We are Catholic. So we go to the Catholic church about once every two weeks.

I am studying at a middle school near my house. The teachers are nice and the friends are fun and kind.

I really like being with people. Especially I really like to talk to people. I like listening to music such as K-pop, watching movies, playing the piano and violin in my free time.

What I want do in America is to go to an American school, study, play with America friends, and do sports activities.

What I want to do with host family in the United States is to visit famous and interesting places, to do sports activities and talk a lot. I would like to share Korean culture with host family in the United States with K-pop, and Korean food.

Thank you for reading my letter and volunteering as an exchange student host. I hope we can have a good time together.

Thank you.
