Dear future host family:

I’m Beatriz, I’m 14 years and I’m from Madrid, the capital city of Spain. I live with my parents and my two brothers. I’m the youngest of the family and I like to spend time with them doing activities like travelling. My oldest brother is 18, he’s studying industrial engineering at the university (he is really smart and responsible) and I love him because he helps me sometimes with homework and makes me laugh. My middle brother is 16, he’s in what would be eleventh grade at high school and although he sometimes is naughty, he’s very funny and has taught me a lot. My mom is very kind and I like to be with her and my dad is very affective and we make plans together, so I love them. At Christmas, I usually spend those special days with my grandparents and uncles and aunts so we have dinner all together and have fun, that’s why is one of my favourites holidays.

About me, I’m very talkative, outgoing, social and funny. I like to help people and be helped as well and I try to get along with as many people as possible. At school I still being talkative but less as usually because I pay attention to the lesson. My marks are quite good, I’m responsable trying to do my homework at time and I cooperate in group activities and sports.

My likes are reading, watch formula one, hang out with friends, cook (even when I don’t really know), pets, watch movies and TV shows, go to amusement parks… And about dislikes I don’t have many, just phobia to spiders.

What I want to learn about my experience in USA is how to be more independence, improve my english level and learn about the american culture and ways of living.
