Dear host family,

My name is Laura, and I hope to be an exchange student next year.

In my house lives my parents, and my brother Marc, my favourite person. We love to spend time together, sometimes, we like to be in the living room, make popcorn and watch a film, or we usually go to a town where my grandma has a house, and spend the day there together.

I am a very crazy person, who laughs at everything, but a little sensitive. I’m also a bit messy with my room but it’s something I’m changing. I’m such a fangirl, I love to get obsess over things.

When I was a child I did gymnastics in my school, but with seven years old I started doing roller blade, and I’ve been doing it since. I love watch films, read books, and my favourite thing, listening to music and go to concerts.

My favourite food of all time is sushi and cheese fries, but I love pasta, caesar salad and soup, I like almost everything. The holidays that I like the most are, Christmas and Halloween, but in Catalonia we celebrate a holiday called ‘Sant Jordi’, it’s the book day and they do like a rose fair, it’s so beautiful.

I’ve always wanted to do an exchange year, but I want to do it for, increase as a person, be more independent, and see what I’m able to do, and of course, for the experience and to learn. I think it’s an opportunity that happens one a lifetime and I want to do it. I am a person that I can adapt with every type of family, and I don’t have any problem, I can adjust with the environment, and everything it’s fine.
