Dear Host Family,

My name is Aina, and I am 16 years old. Since I was a child, I have dreamed of living this experience, and I think this already shows how excited I am to go to the United States to discover and try new things.

I live in an apartment on the coast with my parents, who own a restaurant where they work during the summer, and my little brother, Joan. I love spending time with them, whether it’s doing activities together, traveling, or simply enjoying a quiet moment at home. I also really enjoy spending time with my group of friends.

I consider myself a bit shy at first, but I am also very curious and eager to meet new people. Once I get to know someone, I am very friendly and love sharing experiences and learning about different cultures. I think I am also an active person who enjoys doing fun activities, but I also love reading and painting.

I am very passionate about sports, especially skiing and gymnastics, which I have practiced for many years. I am excited to try new sports and experiences during my stay with you. In the summer, I love spending time at the beach with my friends. I also really like animals and young children, and I enjoy playing with and taking care of them. Additionally, I love shopping and traveling because I believe discovering new places is an enriching experience.

Even though I feel a bit nervous about being away from my environment for so long, I am also very excited to live this experience with you, learn about your culture, and share great moments together. I hope we get to know each other soon and that these months will be unforgettable for all of us!
