Dear Host Family,

My name is Blanca. I am 15 years old. I live with my family. My mother is 52 years old, and she works as a teacher and an architect. She loves cooking. My father is 54 years old, and he works in a company. He likes running and going out with his friends. I have a brother named Carlos. He is 19 years old, and he studies engineering at the university. He loves football. I also have a sister named Aitana. She is 21 years old and studying in New Zealand. She loves traveling and learning new languages. We have two pets, a dog called Isis, who is very loving, and a calm cat named Rayo. We spend time together as a family, cooking, playing games, or watching movies.

I am a social, kind, and fun person. I like making friends, and I enjoy spending time with them. I also love spending time with my family. I like playing tennis because it keeps me active and I enjoy the challenge. I also like horseback riding because it makes me feel free and relaxed, I haven’t practiced it for a long time. I love spending time outdoors, playing sports, or just talking with my friends. I also love food, especially pizza, hamburgers, soup, cookies, and sweets. My favorite holiday is Christmas because I spend time with my family, and I love the cold weather, the gifts, and the traditions. Every Christmas, we play the invisible friend, and were all really enjoy it.

I hope to improve my English and speak more fluently. I want to experience American culture and traditions, make new friends, and learn new things. I am excited to grow as a person, become more independent, and have fun.
