I am so excited about the opportunity to be a part of your family and experience life in the U.S. My family at home is small—just my parents, my brother, and me. We don’t have any pets, but we enjoy spending time together watching movies, going for walks, and occasionally going out for dinner. One of my favorite times of the year is when we go skiing with our extended family during the winter holidays. It’s a tradition I always look forward to!
I would describe myself as a positive and friendly person who enjoys making others happy. I try to bring energy and enthusiasm to everything I do, but like anyone, I have moments when I need some space, especially if I’ve had a tough day. In those times, I tend to be quieter, but I always bounce back quickly.
In my free time, I love staying active. I go to the gym regularly, and I play football (soccer) three times a week with my team, which is something I’m really passionate about. When I’m relaxing, I enjoy playing video games on my computer. As for food, I like almost everything—especially fruits, vegetables, and, of course, some junk food! However, I have to admit that cheese, broccoli, and oranges aren’t my favorites.
During my exchange year, I hope to step outside of my comfort zone, experience a new culture, and make lifelong friends. I would love to try new activities, and I’m especially interested in learning more about American football. More than anything, I want to create great memories and be a part of my host family’s daily life. I am open to any new experiences and excited to see where this journey takes me!
I look forward to meeting you and sharing this adventure together!
Best regards,
Gianfranco
