Hello!

My name is Paula and I am 15. I am very excited to go to the US, know its culture, language and people and I hope to have one of the greatest experiences in my whole life.

I live in Logroño, a small city in the north of Spain, famous for its delicious wine. I live with my parents and my older sister. Her name is Julia, she is 19 years old and I love her. My parents’ names are Sandra and Jesus, I am going to miss them so much.

I have a huge group of friends in my village. We are 30 people from different ages, from 15 to 19 years old, and also from different parts of Spain. We love it when summer comes and we all get together and spend every day at all hours together. I also have two best friends in other cities of Spain and even though I don’t see them a lot we make videocalls and we talk almost every day.

My high school is a catholic school located in my city. I have been in this school since I am 1 year old till now and I have meet my group of friends there. My classmates and I get along great very well since we have been together for a long time.

I love to watch and practice sports. I swim 12 hours a week and combine it with gym 6 hours a week. Apart of swimming, I go running because I am a soccer referee. In winter, I love to go skiing and in summer, I go to surf camps. Thanks to doing so many things, I am highly organized person and I make the most of every moment.

Another thing that I like is to sing and dance with my sister, while in the car, we play music, sing and dance. I usually listen to English music, I like Justin Bieber and Rihanna. When I was young, I went to a Bruno Mars concert, I loved it. I also listen to Spanish music, I like Puerto Rican singers, such as, Bad Bunny and Anuel AA.

One of my qualities is that I am great with children and I love to play and be with them. I have many little cousins and at family meals I spend all my time playing with them. When I walk down the street and I see a child I immediately try to make him laugh.

I will study Mathematics and Computer Engineering, I am obviously good at Math and Physics. I am not so good at Biology. I have been studying English for as long as I can remember. Apart from English, I study German since I am 12 years old. In the future I would like to speak many more languages, because I love to learn them.

More about me, I love to watch series. My favorites series are Gossip Girl and Grey’s Anatomy. I watch them in English because I think is a fantastic way to improve my listening skills. My favorite film is Mamma Mia, I can spend hours and hours listening to the songs and I don’t get tired even if I see it many times. My biggest fear are dogs and I am also allergic to them and cat hair.

Finally, I consider myself a sociable person, shy at first, cheerful, empathetic and competitive. I’m looking forward to go to the United States and improve my English skills.
