Dear host family,

Hi! My name is Bruna, I’m from Barcelona, and I’m super excited to be writing to you.

I wanted to share a little bit about myself and my family, and hopefully, we’ll get to know each other better soon!

There are four people in my family: my dad, my mom, my little brother, and me. We also have a dog named Dante, and we love him so much. One of my favorite things to do with my family is go on vacations, especially because we travel in our camper van. That way, we can bring Dante with us, and have lots of fun together. I really enjoy spending time with them because we have such a great connection, and it’s always a great time doing things as a family.

I’m a responsible and creative girl, and I’m a good student. I love making people laugh, and I think I’m pretty outgoing and active once I feel comfortable. Some of my strengths are that I’m empathetic, mature, positive, and a good person in general. I’m also respectful, honest, and observant. But like everyone, I have some weaknesses too: I can be a bit teary sometimes, and I can also be a bit strict.

One of my biggest passions is dancing. I absolutely love it! But I also enjoy other things like singing, reading, fashion, makeup, cooking, and doing crafts. My favorite foods are soup, hamburgers, and sushi. And my favorite holiday is Christmas. Every year, my grandma makes the best soup for Christmas, and she always prepares lots of other delicious dishes too.

From this experience, I hope to improve my English and become better at speaking it. I also hope to grow as a person since I’ll be living new experiences I’ve never had before, and I’m excited to connect with a lot of people in the United States.

Finally, I just want to say that I’m super excited to meet my future host family. I hope it’s a great experience for you too to have me at home!
