Hello, my name is Jakub, I come from Slovakia and I would like to spend one semester in the USA.

I live with my parents and one younger sister. We do not have any pets at home and have never had one. I really like vacations where we spend time together and have fun. My family like exploring new things and interesting places together.

I like meeting new people and experiencing new things which makes me very curious and communicative. I am quite competitive and like to challenge myself but I am sometimes little lazy. I like when people are telling the truth and are honest and can encourage me.

My hobbies are all kinds of sports but now I really enjoy playing basketball, working out at the gym and watching NBA and NFL matches. I like trying new things and sports so I am open to almost everything. My favourite foods are mainly the Italian like pasta and pizza, but I also like fishes and fruit.

I expect from the exchange program to gain experience about American daily life and try it on my own. Also to experience holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving because we do not celebrate it and I think it must be very interesting. To get to know local culture and travel to some beautiful places in USA. To gain some new skills, be more independent in my life and improve my English knowledge.
