LETTER FROM Lola

Lola

Hello,
My name is Lola and I’m 17. I have a 13-year-old sister called Livia and a 4-year-old brother called Laël. My parents are separated and my mother has remarried Cedric. My father has a cat called Nougat and my mother doesn’t have any pets as we live in a flat. I love spending time with my brother and sister, playing games and going for walks. I also like doing sport with my parents: going to the gym with my dad, running with my step-dad and doing fittennis with my mum.

I’m a determined, enterprising person who likes to see things through to the end. A little reserved, I quickly become talkative and funny as soon as I feel confident! Sometimes I don’t have confidence in myself and I’m defeatist, but I bounce back quickly thanks to the advice of the people around me!

My passions are climbing, which I’ve been doing for 8 years, listening to music, watching TV series and playing the piano, which I’ve been learning for 1 year. My other passion is food! I’m not fussy and I love to eat. I love travelling too, and I’m lucky enough to do it with my parents, so I enjoy discovering new things. I live on an island in the Mediterranean, which makes it pretty easy to have fun at weekends and during the holidays.

For me, doing this exchange year in the USA with a host family would be a great opportunity and something I’ve been dreaming about for 4 years! I’ve done a lot of research and followed the candidates on social networks. I’m very motivated by the idea of living another life for a year, with another culture, another way of doing things, being bilingual and meeting new people!
Choose me without hesitation, you won’t regret it, I’ll be grateful and I’ll give it back to you!

See you soon!
Lola
