Hello future host family,

I am Eléa, I am 15 years old, and I am very excited to spend a year with you in the fall of 2025.

I would like to thank you already now, and I am happy that I have the opportunity to spend a school year in the USA.

I hope we have a great time together and experience lots of adventures.

I live with my parents, my sister, our dog and our cats in a small village in Germany. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family, we often go on trips together, play games or travel.

My biggest passion is Track and field, where I train 3 times a week in a club and take part in competitions.

I also go babysitting because I enjoy playing with and looking after small children.

I tutor, and I am part of a Heart team at school, where I help students with problems.

I also volunteer at the children’s church every Sunday. On the weekends, I like to bake and cook for my family.

I do a lot with friends, go shopping together, go to an amusement Park that is close to me or meet up to eat together.

My friends and I have been going to a dance school for a year now, we dance waltz, disco fox and salsa together.

I’m really looking forward to spending a year with you and experiencing the American way of life.

I really want to go abroad because my dad also spent a high school year in Arizona with a host family, and he always talks a lot about how wonderful it was there and how many new experiences he had.

I would love to experience all that too.
