Dear host family,

thank you for welcoming me into your home and giving me the chance to experience a new culture and way of life.

My name is Jonte, and I come from Germany. I live with my parents, my younger sister and my dog. My mother is a teacher, and my father is a social worker.

In my free time, I like playing sports like tennis and volleyball. I also enjoy meeting my friends and spending time with them. Aside from that I take care of my dog every day.

For a long time, I have wanted to go abroad for getting new experiences. The idea of spending some months in the USA is very exciting to me. I look forward getting to know new cultures, the diversity of nature in your country and to making new friends. I am curious about the school life and I look forward trying out new hobbies and of course I want improve my English.

I am especially excited about seeing what daily life is like in another family and how it is different from mine.

I am open to new experiences and eager to learn from you. I also hope to share some of my own culture with you. I believe we will have many wonderful and memorable moments together.
