Dear host family, in this letter I will try to tell you something about me.

I am from Italy and I live in a big city. I love my family. My parents are divorced and I live with my father but, sometimes, I spend visit to my mother. I have a very good relationship with both of them; they are very supporting and caring. I didn’t have any siblings and pets growing up. The most activity I like to do with my parents is travelling because I always did it when I was younger. In fact I lived in Kosovo for 3 years and also in Brussels for 1 year for my father’s work. When traveling, I like going to the seaside as I like warmer weather. My father is the same way.

I am an extroverted, empathetic and sweet girl. I get along with others easily and I really like children, but I am also respectful with adults. My strengths aspects are: determinate, clever and funny. When decide I want to achieve something, I put lots of effort in it. At times, my weaknesses can be: stubborn and susceptible. But I do my best to try to improve these traits. I am currently in the 3rd year of high school of a Language High School. I study many languages and my favorite one is English. I also enjoy watching shows in English. Since I was 5 years old, after school, I am attending a Musical School where I am still studying sing, act and dance. I love singing to pop songs, my favorite singer is Lady Gaga. Dance wise, I dance contemporary and modern styles. A dream of mine is to become an actress or a singer when I am older. For this reason, I put a lot of effort into this. Tennis is my favourite sport because I played it 5 years, even though I don’t practice it a lot anymore because I am more focused on my other passions.

My favourite foods are pasta, pizza and sushi.

I usually spend my holidays to the seaside because both of my parents prefer the sea. After this experience I hope to gain a fluent english/american english and try to enter in a typical American’s traditions spirit. I cannot wait to attend an american high school and to experience the traditional activities that students participate in. I also hope that I can share some of my culture with you! I am very hopeful that this will be an unforgettable experience for both of us.
