Dear Host Family,

I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Ángela, and I am very excited to join your family. I’d love to share a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me better.

I come from a small family. I have one brother, he is a little bit annoying sometimes but I love him. My mom is a wonderful vet who loves cooking and fashion. My dad is a vet too, he is a very kind person and so smart. We all enjoy spending time together, whether it’s having family dinners or going on trips. We also have a dog called Trufa, who is very friendly and loves playing outside. Spending time with my family is one of my favorite things to do.

I would describe myself as kind, generous and responsible. I enjoy helping others and I am always eager to learn new things. One of my strengths is my ability to adapt to different situations and make the best out of them. However, I am still working on being patient and improving my grades. I look forward to improve my weakness during my time in the U.S. In my free time, I love reading books and watching some series. I’m particularly passionate about riding horse, which is my favourite sport. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies, or playing board games. Some of my favorite foods are pasta, rice and meat, and I’m especially fond of Italian food. We celebrate several holidays in my country, and one of my favorite traditions is Christmas. I can’t wait to experience American holidays and traditions with you!

Through this experience, I hope to immerse myself in American culture, improve my language skills, and create lasting friendships. I am excited to experience everyday life in the U.S. and share my own culture with you. I also look forward to gaining a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live in a different country, and to become a more independent and adaptable person.

I’m excited to experience all that comes with living in a new place, no matter where it is! I am also happy to live with any family situation and look forward to learning from your unique way of life. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
