Hello, I´m Carla and I am going to write a little bit about me. I live with my mom and my dad, we are three but our family is very tight- knit. I don´t have any siblings but, I have a very close cousin and we are like sisters. Right now, I don´t have any pets, even though I love animals, I had a dog but she passed away last year. I love spending time with all my family for example all sat by the table or going for a walk.

If I had to describe myself I would say that I am very hard-working and persistent. I think that I am very sociable and open-minded because I love meeting new people and new experiences. Also, I am very empathetic, positive and energetic always trying new thinks and look on the bright side of things. But as a person I also have weaknesses like for example that sometimes I am a perfectionist with myself and I am a little bit impatient.

My favourite hobby is playing tennis, I enjoy a lot playing it, competing and doing exercise, it helps me to relax and forget my problems. Also, I like reading books and watching films and series, many times with my family. I like to bake with my cousin. Sometimes I like to do crafts like scrapbooking or drawing just for fun and I enjoy a lot learning about many topics and debating. My favourite foods are soup, chicken and meat, pasta, rice and vegetables. My favourite holiday is Christmas because my family have always had the tradition of eating together dancing, singing traditional songs…

I really think that I have a lot to learn from life and from this exciting experience. I think that I will gain a lot of self-growth and capabilities that aren´t taught at school. I can learn to adapt myself to uncommon situations for example, being new in a school and staying with a different family that I don´t even know yet. Also I think that I have a lot of people, cultures, traditions, different ways of doing things to get to know and add to myself. I am very excited for this opportunity that has come up into my life!
