Dear family,

My name is Claudia and I am the youngest of our family. I have an older sister, her name is Carla she’s two and a half years older than me. She is currently studying in Japan, she’s a sophomore in collage. Both of my parents work for international American companies. Our lives during the working week are kind of busy but during dinner we try to catch up. Also, during the weekends, we spend more time together. We like to watch some TV shows together and to travel.

I am a calm person but if you take me to an amusement park, I’ll go a little bit crazy. When I meet somebody new, I can be shy at the beginning but I open up really fast. I am a responsible person and It’s very important to me to get a good education. On my free time I like to read books and listen to music of any type. I also hang out with my friends. Right now, with my school I’m doing windsurf and sailing and I love it.

I like all kinds of food but I am a meat lover. My favorite holiday is Christmas because on that day we get all the family together and I get to see cousins that I normally can’t see because they live in different towns.

I want to go to USA because I think is going to be a great opportunity for me to learn about your culture. I’ve spent all my life in my city and I’m very excited about living in a different place. Also, I think I’ll be more open minded, became more independent and responsible, and I will improve my English.
