Hello,

My name is David and I’m from Spain. My parents are divorced, so I live with my mum during the week and I live with my father during the weekend. In this house live my father and our cat, its name is Rocky, it is orange and white. On the other side, in my mother’s house, we are 5, my mother, my stepfather, my sister and my other cat, Gala, it is brown and white with green eyes. Also we have a white rabbit.

In both houses, I like watching movies. I usually help to prepare the dinner because I love cooking, my favourite dish to prepare is spanish omelet. I clean my room and I want to prepare my clothes for the next day. During the evening I do my homerwork and play volley or go to the gym. The Tuesdays and Thursday I go to English Academy.

I am an attentive person, my friends always talk to me when they have a problem or when they are going to tell me secrets because they know they can always trust me, I am very creative, fun, a little shy. I don’t like telling lies. I have many reflections and intuition for things like solving puzzles, giving ideas, among other things.

My favourite hobby it is the robotic, I want to work in a future something related with robotics and games finally I love going to the beach. At the weekend usually I assist to the volleyball match with my team, in the evening I love going to the cinema with my friends, play videogames or walk with my family or my friends.

I am very grateful that a family can host me to live this experience, teach me what life is like in the USA and meet new friends forever. I would also like to teach them customs and ways of life in Spain, especially the typical foods here. Since my family confirmed that I would go to the USA, I am practicing more in the kitchen to teach them new recipes from my country.

My favourite food is the pasta, I know that it is Italian food, but I also can learn them. All Christmas we go to the town and we see all family: my grandparents or my uncle or my aunts. I suppose that the Christmas in USA is the best place to enjoy those days.

For the next year, I think this is a good experience because It’s a time of disconnection, make great moments, get a lot off culture and improve my english.
