Dear host family:

Hi everyone! My name is Elen and I would like to describe myself in this letter.

I already talked about Exchange year when I was probably 13 and now I decided to make my dream come true! I am very excited to be part of the exchange programme and I would love to spent a year in American host family!

I would like to tell you something about my family: My family is quite big. There are my parents, my 2 older brothers, 1 older sister and me. We are funny group and family and we have very good relationships.

I have good relationship with my family and they really support me in my decisions. We also have 1 dog and 6 cats.

My parents own the business school which I visit.

Me and my family love traveling. We visited Mexico, Thailand, Mauritius, Bali and of course lot of states in Europe and we go to the mountains every year because we love snowboarding. We like traveling because we like to meet new cultures.

Now something about me:

I’m very creative, my hobbies are drawing and painting. I love art and this is my biggest passion! I can spend hours doing it. I also like music, fashion, snowboarding, traveling and animals.

I used to play hockey as a child, but I broke my arm and never returned to hockey. But I liked that sport. I also did gymnastic but I quit. I still like sport.

My favourite food is steak, lasagna, burgers and salad.

Now I am on business school but i don’t like math and numbers. I would rather be on some art school. My favorite subjects in school are English and history. I am excited to know ned education style in the USA!

From my exchange year I expect a significant improvement in English from the Exchange year and I hope I will meet new friends, teachers and have some fun!

I would love to be a member of your family. I feel that I am flexible and nice person and I would love to live abroad for a while!
