LETTER FROM Ema

Ema

Thank you for reading my letter. I am very excited about this exchange program and to learn more about life in America. I would like to introduce myself!

I live with my family of four. We don’t have any pets, but we have many stuffed animals that feel like part of our family. My family is very close, and we laugh a lot together. My father likes movies, tennis, and Shiba Inu dogs. I am very close to him, and we often watch movies and tell jokes together. My mother loves cooking, especially sweets, and sometimes the house smells very nice when I come home. She is also good at making our stuffed animals look like they are alive, which makes us happy. My younger sister loves anime and has a favorite YouTuber. She often hugs me, and I think she is very cute. We like to say movie lines together and play games.

I think I am a kind and curious person. People say I have a nice smile. I can be a little clumsy, and sometimes I do things differently from others, so people say I am unique. I like to spend time alone sometimes because it helps me relax. I always tell myself, “Life is only once, so do what you want to do!”

My hobbies are singing, watching movies, listening to music, and coloring. I love fantasy worlds, and my favorite movie is The Lord of the Rings. Recently, I have become interested in boxing because I want to become stronger. My favorite food is Japanese food, but I can eat almost anything.

Through this exchange program, I want to see new places, learn about different cultures, and meet new people. I think having friends and sharing experiences is important, but the most important thing is to enjoy the journey. I look forward to meeting you and making great memories together!
