F-1 Academic Student Programs USA

ICES offers the Academic CHOICE and VALUE Program for high school students grades 9-12, and additionally the Middle School Program for junior high students.

F-1 ACADEMIC HIGH SCHOOL CHOICE PROGRAM USA

Students interested in the ‘Choice Program’ have the option to choose a specific school and the type of high school indicated below:

F-1 ACADEMIC HIGH SCHOOL VALUE PROGRAM USA

We chose the school based on the student’s interests and academic background. Diploma is available on this program.

F-1 MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM USA

Great option for students younger than high school age (ages 11-14) to get the American school experience.

VIRTUAL ACADEMIC HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM USA

ICES is offering international students the opportunity to study remotely online through a U.S. High School. Students that join the ICES Virtual High School program can study from the comfort of their own home with the ability to earn a U.S. High School Diploma or credits that are transferable to other U.S. High Schools.

Short-Term Student Programs USA

For students who can’t get away for a whole school year – Our English language and cultural Short Term Programs are the perfect solution!

AMERICAN SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

Students get a ‘taste’ of American high school and live with a host family for 1-3 months.

VIRTUAL SHORT-TERM HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM USA

A short-term and very flexible program for foreign students who prefer to study remotely online through a U.S. High School. Students will study from the comfort of their own home with the ability to earn a U.S. High School Diploma or credits that are transferable to other U.S. High Schools.

Caroline, a native Swede was an exchange student in Minnesota and then after studies in France and Law studies at Stockholm University she started working for an agent in Sweden, sending students abroad. Caroline later moved to Boston, MA to work for an F1 organization before joining ICES in 2019. When she’s not working she tries to spend most of her time outdoors, either hiking, skiing or on the water.

I primarily work with F-1 student admissions, school and host family placements. When new students apply to the program, I review their applications and work with schools and field staff on paperwork and placements. My experience with youth exchange began when I started with ICES in 2016, and it has been great to hear about so many wonderful experiences, for both students and host families, and I have been able to see the value in what we do as an organization.

I primarily work with our F1 program assisting our international partners in placing their students in Public and Private High Schools throughout the US. My previous experience has consisted of sales, negotiations and customer service. Working at ICES is my first experience in cultural exchange and allows me to use my previous experience to benefit me in my current position.
