  3. Los Angeles Unified School District

The LAUSD is the second largest public school system in the U.S. and the largest in California. It is located in a culturally rich and diverse part of Southern California with many landmarks and attractions.  Our SEVP Certified High Schools are located throughout the district and therefore a student’s experience will vary in programs, services, sports, and clubs. The surrounding community will also offer its own unique blend of culture. Past students have enjoyed activities which focus on school spirit or pride which may differ from that in their home country. For those international students who need to improve their English skills, the LAUSD offers ESL courses at no additional cost.
