We are offering 25 Advanced Placement courses in 2023-2024: Art, Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Comparative Government, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Environmental Science, European History, Human Geography, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Physics C, Precalculus, Psychology, Seminar, Spanish Language and Culture, Spanish Literature and Culture, Statistics, U.S. Government and Politics, and U.S. History. We require honors level science courses as a prerequisite to AP science courses. We require students to take AP Calculus AB prior to AP Calculus BC, our culminating math class. We recommend students take only 3 AP courses per year. With permission of their counselor, some students take 4 or 5 AP courses per year. All students are expected to take the AP exam except for the 2020-2021 school year when our school made it optional.

Arts
Arts Offerings:

We have a play and a musical each year, for classes, we offer studio art including printing, ceramics, drawing and painting, we also offer theatre tech, theatre drama, band, jazz band, and Chorus.

The Visual and Performing Arts Department at Saint Edward’s School inspires the creative spirit through practice and performance. We foster, encourage, and guide artistic expression through experiential learning, culminating in professional level presentations. Students may choose to participate in the Visual Arts, the Performing Arts, or both.

Beyond the theatre and sports offerings, we have clubs that meet during the school day. These include Model UN, Baking Club, French Club, and many more. Students are allowed to present their ideas each year for the clubs they would like to participate in.
