Dear Host Family,

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter regarding my presentation. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.

In my family, we are a party of five. There’s my mom, my dad, my brother, and my sister. Although my parents are separated, they maintain a positive and respectful interaction. One remarkable trait of my mother is that she instills a great deal of trust in us from a young age. On the other hand, my father is the funniest person I’ve ever known. As for my sister, she has a unique quality of joining in on the activities my brother and I engage in, which I find endearing. Speaking of my brother, he possesses exceptional social skills. The aspect I love most about my family is our closeness and friendship. For instance, when COVID-19 hit Italy and confined us to our homes, we managed to handle the situation without suffering too much.

As for myself, I consider myself to be quite humorous. Although I used to be very lively, I’ve become slightly less so. According to my parents and teachers, I am intelligent, patient, and loyal. On the other hand, I am a bit shy, which can have its advantages, such as being more approachable to others.

I believe I would be a strong candidate because when I go to America, I want to explore and gain a deeper understanding of my future path, and I believe this opportunity would be the best way to achieve that.

In terms of hobbies, I am currently engaged in Calisthenics, a unique form of gymnastics. However, in the past, I played soccer, tennis, basketball, and even tried volleyball. I enjoy watching Formula 1 races or going karting, but I also have a fondness for chess and board games.

When it comes to food, I have a few favorites, including pasta, sushi, and pizza.

As for holiday preferences, I don’t have a specific type as I enjoy both warm and cold destinations.

One of our family traditions is gathering together for all holidays, and we have a special tradition of going on holiday to Sardinia.
