Dear host family,

My name is Juliette, I´m fifteen years old. I live in a town near to Madrid, it’s two hours by car journey. I’m an extrovert sociable and talkative girl, but sometimes It’s a little bit difficult for me to gain confidence. I like to keep up with the people I care and I’m used to tell them every single thing that happens in my life.

I really like going out with my friends to walk around the town or just talk for a while. Although I also like activities indoors, like reading or playing the guitar, I don’t have a favorite hobby because I think all the activities are fun, although I could say that I have a great interest in music and dance since I was little. I only live with my parents but I always wanted to have siblings. Actually I don’t have any pet, however I still loving animals.

My favorite holiday is Christmas because I feel like there is a lot more togetherness between families and there are a lot of special meals at this time of the year. I created my own Christmas tradition and it consist of watching The Grinch, the old version of course. I have been doing this for as long as I can remember and it is one of my favorite traditions. I love traveling, meeting new people and I hope to learn about American culture in this new experience and making new friends as well as I improve my English level.
