Hi,
I’m Lili a teenage girl, living in two homes as a daughter of divorced parents. My mother has a new husband who lives with us for 6 years now. I change homes in weekly rotation, but I can’t complain everything is great and my parents get along easily. We share a dog with my brother, a labrador, I love animals and many of my relatives had or has one. We do different hobbies with each of my family. With my dad and my brother we often travel to other countries, I think of my dad as a pretty good cooker, so I love learning from him or with him preparing different foods. My best friend and my brother’s best friend are siblings and my dad are friends with their dad so we hang out a lot together. I think what I love the most with my mother is going for late night drives and listening to loud music or have deep conversations. I love playing cards and board games and with the whole family we always try new ones.
One of my favourite trait in myself that I’m athletic and I have a sense towards sports, also open to try any new. I consider myself generous, I know it’s common to say, maybe because I have a brother and cousins, so I am able to share anything. I can easily socialize with people especially via sports. I have negatives as well, it’s hard for me to wake up at mornings accordingly I can be a little bit edgy so I barely speak to not say something hurtful. Mostly in sports I have high standards toward myself in consequence after a long time I get tired of it. Sometimes I want the best in everything but not everybody? At the time loads of things interests me, I tried about 10 different sports but now I am playing volleyball although I would love to try new ones. I spend most of my time with my friends doing crazy things. I often go out with them in the weekend if I don’t have volleyball match. I try out new in everything also in food, my personal favourite is the italian kitchen, everyone likes pizza and pasta. More I love travelling we’ve been to many countries in Europe, my grandparents even have a holidayhouse in Spain.
What am I looking forward in this experience? First the new people, how can I manage living with a family I’ve just met. I’m sure that it will challenging too fitting in a new environment with unknown people. I also hope a big improvement in my language skills, I can speak but my vocabulary is low. I want to build up deeper connection with people in a new continent and I can’t wait to find more about the cultural things too. After I came back I will be a new person obviously in a good way, be more independent for example. I don’t really have any preferences regarding I lived in 4 different places and have been to camps where 10 people stayed together. I can easily adapt to any environment and what I earlier mentioned I love animals.
In conclusion I’m open minded to everything, and can’t wait to meet my new family.
