Hi!

My name is Martina. I live in a small town in Sicily. Right now I’m 15, but in 2 weeks I’ll turn 16. I really enjoy spending time with my family, it makes me happy. In my family we are 3: my dad, my brother and me, that’s because my mom died when I was 4 years old. I think that this horrible experience has changed me a lot and it has made me grow as a person.

I really like hanging out with my friends, but during winter I rarely do that because of school and conservatory. My school isn’t near my place and I have to take the bus every day, at school I study languages, in fact I can speak English, French and Spanish, in addition to Italian.

My biggest passion is music, in fact I study piano at the conservatory and when I can I also take part in the choir at school. I enjoy listening to music and doing sport, my favorite is swimming, in fact I practiced it for 5 years and I’d love to have more time so I can continue to practice it.

I love animals (every type). Me and my dad always cure and help them when we can (even if they’re not ours) and I’m also vegetarian.
I also love travel and I’m glad that I had (and still have) the opportunity to visit a lot of places in the world

All of this is only a small part of me. I hope to find someone who wants to create a unique bond (like a real family) and who wants to share this beautiful experience with me.

I really hope to consider my host family like my home and safe place and of course like my second family!
