Dear future host Family

I’m Nina and at the moment I’m 15 years old. I currently visit the 10th grade. When I come to you I’ll be 16 years old. I am so thankful that you are willing to take me in for such a long time. I’m looking forward to exchanging cultures with you and meeting new people.

I live in the South of Germany with my mother and my dad. I also have an older brother (18) and a little dog named Hope.

I love to do cheerleading and play tennis with my dad. I would also like to do cheerleading at school during my time in the USA if it is possible. Sometimes I play the piano to relieve stress. I also love spending time with my dog and go for a walk with her. In my free time I love to bake and cook. During the winter time my mum and I love to bake Christmas cookies.

Me and my friends love to go to the city together for shopping. In the summer we love to drive with our bikes to the lake and have a picnic there. Me and my Family like to play board games in the winter time and during summer we like to play volleyball just for fun.

I have the dream of doing a year abroad for about a year. When I was 6 years old I went to the USA to visit my great aunt and it was the best vacation I have ever had. We did a road trip through parts of the USA with a camper. The USA inspires me a lot because there are so many differences to Germany and I would like to learn more about it and to be able to speak the language better.

I am most looking forward to getting to know you personally and spending time with you and laughing together. I would be very happy to cook American dishes with you and show you some German dishes that I really like to eat.
