The first thing I want to tell you is that I am so thankful to you for allowing me to stay in your house for a whole year, even being from a different country with different customs.

My family is composed by my father (lawyer, 46 years old), my mother (civil servant, 46 years old), my sister María (student, 16 years old), my youngest brother Eduardo (student, 11 years old) and me, Patricio (15 years old).

My father looks a little bit serious at first, but he is a funny person that makes a lot of jokes. My mother is a very affectionate person. My sister is a bit annoying because she is always singing and sometimes speaks too loud (like teenagers), but we have a good relationship. My brother likes playing roller hockey. We all have a very good relationship and they are very important to me because they help and support me always. We like doing sports together and play outside but we also like playing board games (no matter my mother always wins).

I am a very active person who likes to do a lot of sport but I also study and have good marks except in art, it seems I haven’t been done for drawing, hahahaha. I am generous and loving, I like saying good things and spending time with my family and friends.

Now, I am trying to eat healthy food and I don’t eat too much junk food because is not good for me. To have a good diet is necessary for playing sports and for having more endurance.

I think that my family will have a great time with me because I am honest and nice with people. I am able to manage with difficult situations and to negotiate solutions. For example, I act as a mediator at school.

I have already had experiences abroad. Recently, I went to France for 10 days. It was a joyful experience and I adapted quickly to the city and schedule that was so different from the Spanish one.

In general, I like playing sports (hockey, paddle, tennis or soccer) and hanging out with my friends. I have also received classes of tennis and golf. In the USA I will like to play baseball because I think that is amazing.

I like action movies. The music I listen is a mix of reggaeton, pop and flamenco. To control my use of the phone I have an app that is called Family link that has my mother and from the app she controls the time I use it and when the phone stops to work. I will talk with my parents and friends on Saturday at night to tell them how has gone the whole week.

Finally, I want to say that I am so grateful to you for accepting me into your family and I also want to say to you that I will help with the tasks of the house and that I am 100% sure that we will have a great time together and we will all have a very good relationship.
