LETTER FROM Pimthida (Crea)

Pimthida (Crea)

My name is Crea, and I am writing this letter to introduce myself and provide a little insight into my life, passions, and the people who have shaped who I am today. I am a student with a strong love for golf, a deep sense of family, and an eagerness to learn and grow. I’d like to share with you a bit more about myself, my background, and the things that inspire me.

I grew up in a beautiful island town, which has always felt like the perfect place for me. The natural beauty of the island, with its beaches and lush landscapes, has been a constant source of peace and inspiration. I cherish the close-knit community where everyone knows each other and supports one another. Living here, I’ve learned the value of simplicity, connection, and hard work. I feel grateful to have been raised in such a peaceful and encouraging environment, where the beauty of nature and the strength of community come together to shape me into the person I am.

One of the biggest passions in my life is golf. I have been playing for about five years now, I dedicate a lot of my time and effort to improving my skills. I love the sport for its challenge and the discipline it requires. Golf is not just a game; it’s a way for me to challenge myself, test my limits, and inspire myself to do better each day. Every time I step onto the golf course, I push myself to improve and enjoy the process of getting better, whether it’s refining my swing, my focus, or my mental game. I’ve never been driven by the need to compete in tournaments. For me, it’s about the passion, the fun, and the drive to improve. Golf teaches me valuable lessons in perseverance, patience, and concentration—lessons I try to apply in all areas of my life.

I am also very fortunate to have a wonderful family who supports me in everything I do. I have one big sister, and although we’re quite different in many ways, she has always been an important influence in my life. She’s someone I look up to, and I admire her for her strength, intelligence, and kindness. Growing up with her has taught me a lot about responsibility, hard work, and how to balance different interests and priorities. Our relationship is one of mutual respect and love, and I believe she will always be someone I can turn to for advice and inspiration.

My father is the owner of a resort on the island, and my mother is a teacher. Both of them have had a tremendous impact on me. From my dad, I’ve learned the importance of entrepreneurship and dedication and the value of hard work in running a successful business. Watching him manage the resort and deal with guests and staff has taught me how to be responsible and organized, as well as how to maintain a calm and professional attitude in any situation. My mom, on the other hand, is an educator, and she’s always encouraged me to value of education above all else. Her patience and passion for teaching have inspired me to work hard in school, be curious, and always strive to understand the world around me.

As a bilingual person, I also take great pride in speaking both Thai and English. While I use English to communicate with my friends and at school. I am fluent in Thai, and it’s the language I use it at home. Speaking both languages has allowed me to connect with a wide range of
people, both locally and internationally, and it has enriched my life in many ways. My Thai heritage is an important part of who I am, and being able to speak the language fluently has kept me connected to my roots and my family back in Thailand. It also allows me to bridge two
cultures, giving me a unique perspective on the world.

Looking ahead, I have many goals I hope to achieve. In the short term, I want to continue improving my golf skills, not for competitions but simply because I love the game and the challenges it presents. I hope to maintain a balance between my studies and my hobbies and to continue learning from my family and experiences. In the long term, I would like to pursue a career that allows me to combine my interests in business and education, perhaps in a field that can help people or contribute to the community.

In conclusion, I am excited about what the future holds and the many opportunities that await me. I am proud of who I am and where I come from, and I am determined to keep learning, growing, and following my passions. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter, and I look
forward to the possibilities that lie ahead.
