I live with my mother, my grandmother, my grandfather, and my pet rabbit, Mocha. My family is very important to me, and we always enjoy spending time together. Every summer, we take a family trip to Nagano, which is something I always look forward to. We enjoy the fresh mountain air, beautiful nature, and delicious local food. It is always a special time for us to relax and make memories together. Being with my family reminds me how grateful I am to have people who always support me.
I can sometimes be easily bored, but when I find something I truly enjoy, I can stay focused on it for a long time. For example, if I discover a movie I like, I can watch it many times until I feel satisfied. The same happens with food. If I find a dish I really like, I can eat it again and again. This shows that when I care about something, I put my heart into it. Even though I may look quiet or reserved, I enjoy observing people and learning from the way they think and behave. This helps me understand the world better and gives me new ideas about myself.
I tend to be a little shy, and I don’t always express my opinions easily. However, once I feel comfortable, I can share my thoughts more openly. People who know me say that I have a kind heart and a unique way of looking at things. I sometimes do things differently from others, and that makes people describe me as “unique.” Although I can be clumsy, I try to be cheerful and kind to those around me.
My hobbies include watching movies, drawing, and enjoying food. Watching movies is especially important to me because they allow me to travel to different worlds, experience many emotions, and learn new things. I enjoy both Japanese and foreign films, and I like to watch the same movie several times if it inspires me. Drawing is another hobby, although I do it only sometimes. It gives me a quiet way to express myself. I also love the bento lunches that my mother makes for me. She puts care into them, and every day I feel happy when I open my lunchbox.
Through this exchange program, I hope to grow in many ways. One of my biggest goals is to become fluent in English. I want to communicate with people from different countries in their own language, not only in the classroom but also in daily life. I hope to improve my listening and speaking skills by living in an English-speaking environment and practicing every day. I also want to experience a new culture directly. I am interested in seeing how American families spend their daily lives, how students learn at school, and what traditions are important. I believe that experiencing these things will give me a wider perspective on the world.
I also hope that this time abroad will help me grow as a person. I want to become more confident, cheerful, and independent. Living away from my family will be a challenge, but I believe it will also teach me important lessons about responsibility and courage. I hope to make new friends, share happy memories, and bring those experiences back home. In the future, I would like to use my English skills for study, work, or travel. Most of all, I want to take this opportunity to learn about myself, discover new possibilities, and take a step toward a bright and happy future.
