Dear my host family,

Hello? Thank you for participate with Exchanging student host volunteer. My name is Yoon Seo. I’m from Korea. I will work hard to make precious experience to host family.

My support motivation for U.S. Department of State exchange student is self development through ability for language and independent life. I want to get wide sight for world through experience and learn about America society and culture directly.

Not to make difficulty at communication in America, I go to video English and English academy and try hard to do English study to do successful exchange student life.

I want to go America’s Disneyland with host family. Also, I want to inform America people Korea culture to make Korea’s food like bulgogi, kimchi, and kimbap and to do Korea’s play like Yutnori. More than anything, I want to spend fun year with host family.

My hobby is listening music and watching movie. When I was a kid, I hear lot of idol song so my hobby is listening music. I like Espa and Stray kids as idol group. I usually listen exciting song. At freetime, I watch idol fancam, cat video and when I have much spare of time,

I watch ghibli animation like ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’. I like America movie ‘Zootopia’ and ‘Inside out’

I live with my parents and sister. Mom’s work is almost perfect, and teaches study to me. I thought my mom is amazing in that part. Dad is kind and franks me so I have fun play with him. I usually rely on sister, so when sister is at home, I chat with her or do trouble counseling a lot of time.

I have defensive personality but when I have difficulty situation, I accept the situation and do my best to over come difficulty. When I see unseen person, I become defensive but become intimate with me, I’ll become cheerful like tomboy. I effort my friend to be comfortable.

I go coeducational public school. I’m now 8 grade. At school, I do dancing class every Wednesday, and do activity like ping-pong, basketball, dodge ball, jump rope at gym class. I like subject Music, Sociality, Korean. I love listening music so naturally love subject Music. Subject Sociology is like listening old story which has summary and I am interested in America history. I most well done subject Korean. So I like subject Korean. At Korea, I eat fashionable food like marathon, tteokbokki, and take a photo at ‘Life4cut‘ with my friends.

‘Life4cut’is photo which is in four parts. It can takes a photo with short time, little expense and instant photo or self studio that printed immediately. After take a photo at life4cut, I sing cheerful with my friends at coin singing room. Coin singing room has system which can sing song when put coin or paper money yourself.

I don’t have any opportunity for announcement actively because the school doesn’t do much announcement class. So I think that I am deficient at courage and confidence. I expect that improve my announcement skill and do announcement actively and be a person who has courage and confidence through class in America.

Also I expect that can personal development while independent life in America. I don’t know what I can do well and interested in. So I expect that I can choose my course concertely and getting to know my intersts concertely through many activities in America. I want to be healthy through hiking, get confidence through activity like theater, and be on intimate terms with theater group member.
