I am truly excited about the opportunity to stay with you and experience life in a new culture.
My family is close-knit and fun-loving. Even on busy days we share small moments. We have three dogs with different personalities, and caring for them is part of our routine. I often take them for walks, feed them, and play with them in the living room.
I am cheerful, kind, and optimistic. I try to keep a smile and look for solutions when challenges appear. I can be shy at first and usually prefer going with the flow rather than planning every detail, but once I feel comfortable I enjoy chatting, asking questions, and helping out. Friends say I bring a calm, positive mood, and I hope to bring the same to your home.
In my free time I like listening to music—especially bright J-pop—and I watch videos to unwind. One of my passions is tennis; I have played since I was eight years old, and training has taught me patience, discipline, and steady improvement. I also enjoy exercise like running or casual badminton with friends, and lately I have been trying roller skating for fun.
As for food, my favorite comfort dish is okonomiyaki, because everyone can gather around the table and share. I would be happy to help in the kitchen and introduce simple Japanese dishes if you are curious.
From this homestay I hope to gain more than language skills. I want to learn how people in your community live day to day—how you spend weekends, celebrate, study, volunteer, and rest. I want to practice communicating clearly, listen carefully, and become more independent. I am eager to help with household tasks, follow your rules, and learn your preferred way of doing things.
I know that adjusting to a new environment can take time. There may be moments when I feel nervous or miss home, but I will remind myself why I chose this adventure: to broaden my perspective, to challenge myself kindly, and to build warm connections across cultures. With patience, honest communication, and a bit of humor, I believe we can create a comfortable daily rhythm together.
Thank you again for welcoming me. I am excited to share my culture and to learn about yours—from favorite recipes and local places to the small traditions that make your family unique. I look forward to meeting you and making many happy memories together.
