Hi, my name is Yzé and I’m 14 years old.
I think of myself as a very open-minded person because I have lived in different countries my whole life with very unsimilar traditions, opinions, lives, languages and simply not the same dynamics at all. I would also say I’m not shy at all as I am actually pretty much the opposite, I love chattering. I am a devoted reader, movies and series watcher and I love listening to music. I’m going to add as well that I really like going for runs and doing sportive activities with my dog (Luca, a boxer), my family or both.
In my family I have an economist (my dad) and a tourism manager (my mom), my sisters are both twelve years old since they are twins. I appreciate all the quality time I spend with them and really enjoy it. At home we have an order for whose day it is to lay the table for example, clean after we have eaten or take out the trash but everyone has to tidy their own room. I also know how to cook some dishes and they are mostly the ones my mom has taught me like noodles or even sweets like crepes.
I live in Spain, a warm country, so my friends and I like to hang out and do outdoor activities together a lot. Right now I’m in ninth grade and my favourite subjects are english, history and spanish literature. I like so many things that I am not sure of what I want to be in the future; either a lawyer, a writer, a scientist, a professional runner, an actress, etc. Since I’m not spanish it’s my fifth year here. [Her dad is from Chile, and her mom is from France.] I have happened to learn a lot about this beautiful country and I really like it.
Even though I have been wanting to go to the US for a very long time since I am interested in the history of the country, the cool traditions, the warmth of its citizens and the pronunciation ( which is quite different from the one they teach us, the brittish one), but as I said before I enjoy watching TV and I do it mostly in American english because I hope to sound one day like them.
Thank you so much for your hospitality and the opportunity you are giving me of possibly living with you for a year.
