My exchange experience has been unforgettable, and as it’s coming to a close it has made me realize exactly just how lucky and privileged I am with this opportunity.

In Tampa, Florida, where I have spent my exchange I have met so many amazing people who I will never forget and remain friends and even family with forever. My host family, are amazing people and I’m so happy I was placed into their home and family.

I’ve participated in so many different things that aren’t available to me at home in Australia; Prom, Homecoming, Flag football, banquets, school subjects, school athletic games, NHL games, NFL games, the freedom of my friends being able to drive at 16 and being able to hang out on weekends and after school and so much more.

My exchange was one of the greatest years of my life and I’m so happy I chose to extend my stay.
